With a rich heritage spanning over several decades, the company has built a reputation for delivering high-quality products that promote health and well-being.Job DescriptionAs out Senior Automation Engineer, you will support the maintenance manager and coach our junior engineers to ensure we:

Design, develop, and implement PLC-based automation solutions to streamline manufacturing processes and enhance productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand automation requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Perform PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of automation systems.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of automation solutions to verify functionality and performance against defined specifications.
Provide technical support and training to operations teams for effective utilisation of automation systems.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in automation to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
Most of our PLCs are Allen Bradley, therefore, your expertise with these is highly desirable

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation engineering within the FMCG industry, with a focus on PLC programming and implementation.
Proficiency in programming PLCs using languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram.
Strong knowledge of industrial automation protocols and standards (e.g., Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
Experience with HMI/SCADA systems and integration with PLCs for data visualisation and monitoring.
Proven ability to analyse complex automation issues, troubleshoot system failures, and implement effective solutions.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and deliver results within established timelines.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all aspects of automation engineering.
