Please note: This is not a Courier role.About the OrganisationSullivan Nicolaides Pathology is one of the largest pathology practices in Australia, providing comprehensive services to patients and doctors over a geographic area throughout Queensland and New South Wales and employing more than 3,000 people.With many employees enjoying a 20+ tenure, we deliver on the promise of learning and development, and career progression.Fostering a true culture of support, we maintain an open-door policy, with each one of our team members playing a role in patient care driven to make sure a top-quality service is provided.About Your Next OpportunityWe now have an opportunity for full-time and part-time Pathology Specimen Collectors to join our Pathology Collection team in our Brisbane Hospital Collection teams, predominantly at the Wesley and Greenslopes Private Hospitals.Your primary responsibility will be taking blood samples from patients and maintaining positive relationships with external clients, GPs, and Medical Centre staff.You will need to be able to work across a 7-day roster with shifts starting from 5.00 am and late shifts finishing at 10.30 pm and involvement in a public hospital.Some of the more specific responsibilities of the position will be to:
Treat our patients with care and compassion;
Receive urine and faeces samples;
Record patient information;
Complete online training via our eLearning training system; and
Liaise with referrers and ancillary services in other health settings.
