- Ensuring a high quality of individualised support services are met to enable older people to enjoy life.
- Working with clients from diverse backgrounds to ensure their individual needs are supported while respecting their culture.
- Delivering services with compassion, integrity, and dignity.
- Ensure that there is always staffed to provide 1:1 quality support and meet the requirements of the clients based on their individual needs and in line with their goals.
- Maintain accurate records and report writing on progress from the client.
- Provide feedback to the relevant facility manager.
- Ensure there are the facilities of transport for the elderly in the public or at one of our therapeutic home facilities.
- Ensure staff are trained to handle complex and challenging behaviours and mental illnesses.
- Interviewing clients and assessing the nature and extent of difficulties.
- Refer clients to agencies that can provide additional help.
- Help older people to engage with their local communities and culture.
- Relevant qualification in community services and at least 2 years of work experience
