It is a fantastic time to join the team as we are growing and continue to develop a strong pipeline of diverse, interesting projects for a range of clients across the country.This is your chance to be involved in a growing multi disciplinary team, applying your skills, managing and delivering your own portfolio of work and also be involved with our large national projects. You will also work alongside an experienced team who will support your professional development.Key responsibilities of the role:Conduct environmental impact assessments in varied environments and carry out technical environmental projectsLead and carry out fieldwork activities such as soil, surface water, sediment and ecology assessments in terrestrial and marine environmentsProvide input, advice and expertise on environmental and planning matters to support KBR’s local and national infrastructure projects, with a focus on Transport, Maritime and Defence market sectorsDevelop and author approval applications to meet local, state and federal planning legislationLearn, understand and apply Commonwealth, State and Local legislation, policies, and guidelines to your project deliverablesDevelop solutions to achieve improved environmental and sustainability outcomes on KBR’s projectsContribute to proposals and bids for securing new and ongoing workManage client relationshipsProduce high quality reports and deliverablesWho are you?This is a great role with genuine opportunity for growth. We want to attract individuals who are seeking a change to be involved in large, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. You are driven to apply and expand your environmental and sustainability skills. You are someone who enjoys coaching and or managing junior staff.You are also willing to lead and carryout field work, at times in remote locations and train junior staff in fieldwork practice.Other requirements:Graduate or postgraduate qualifications in environmental science, environmental planning or other relevant disciplinePrevious experience working within an environmental consultancyProven capability in authoring professional reports and deliverablesExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Able to operate as an individual contributor running their own work, or form a part of a multi-disciplinary project teamComfortable meeting and presenting to clientsTechnical proficient in management and interpretation of field dataExperience using GIS software is an advantage.Infrastructure Solutions AustraliaWe are committed to social and environmental sustainability and to a safe and inclusive workplace.
