Rentokil Initial has a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Customer Service Consultant to join our team based in Adelaide on a Permanent full-time basis.This role reports directly to the Customer Service Team Lead and will see you utilise your awesome Customer Service experience to build customer relationships, work with technicians on scheduling and make outgoing calls to customers to promote our products and services.Core responsibilities in the role include:
  • Keeping the customer at the centre of your thinking by taking responsibility and ownership for customer satisfaction, loyalty and responding to customer queries related to their bookings in an effective manner.
  • Proactively making outbound calls to our existing customers to promote our products and services
  • Demonstrate experience in customer service, including the ability to display empathy and active listening skills. Provide a high level of customer service and act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email.
  • A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy while scheduling appointments for residential customers
  • Converting incoming enquiries into sales opportunities using excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines, KPI's and meet sales targets while working as a team and independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and attend to ad-hoc jobs as and when they arise
  • Documentation of all relevant information on the CRM to provide clear instruction for field technicians.
  • Maintaining our databases by ensuring customer records and details are up to date while ensuring compliance.
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Experience working in call centre or internal sales environments (essential)
  • Demonstrated experience in phone sales and converting enquiries into sales
  • Capable of working with multiple web-based data-bases and email programs. Experience in Microsoft suite is desirable.
  • Proficient with communicating verbally and electronically
  • Able to work calmly under pressure while multitasking.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to support fellow colleagues.
  • Professional, reliable and punctual.
  • Accurately enter data into systems.
