About the role:This is an exciting contract opportunity for a Project Engineer to join Ecolab Healthcare, a leading supplier of both laboratory and medical equipment with over 2,000 customers throughout Australia and New Zealand.Ideally based in Melbourne and reporting directly to the ANZ Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for Project Implementations - providing project drawings, planning and execution of capital works projects into the Medical, Scientific and Pharmaceutical sector. As a project engineer you will ensure delivery on-time, to budget and to agreed standards.Your responsibilities will include:Provide accurate AutoCAD site drawings along with the relevant standards and regulationsControl and coordination of project activitiesProvide equipment & technical specifications to the customerEnsure strict adherence to statutory regulations, particularly in regard to safetyMonitor planning & installation progress and update forecasts as required in line with physical and financial targetsMonitoring of the project timelines, milestones and key functional requirements to ensure the project can be delivered on time and within budgetWorking directly with customers in the management of technical and business impacting issuesProduce clear and effective communication to stakeholders at all levelsBy nature, you will preferably have:Proven Project Engineering experiencePossess a high level of communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain professional relationships with our internal and external stakeholdersHave the ability to work autonomously with a clear customer focused orientationHave the drive and enthusiasm to succeed and provide solutions that add genuine valueBe technically minded and be an excellent problem solverTechnically speaking you will ideally have:Strong skills in Microsoft Project and AutoCAD are essentialTertiary qualifications- Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management Qualifications.Prior experience managing projects of equipment installation (medical, food or pharmaceutical experience desirable)About us:Ecolab employs over 1200 people in ANZ.
