Our commitment to innovation, excellence, and design has established us as industry leaders, continuously improving the spaces where Australians live and work.The Role:We are on the lookout for a Process Engineer with a mechanical engineering background to become an integral part of our Wendouree manufacturing team. This role is crucial for operational excellence on our paper treating line, with a focus on troubleshooting performance and quality issues, and leading process improvement initiatives. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with 1-2 years of post-graduation experience who are ready to work closely with process operators to drive continuous improvements.Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (flexible).Key Responsibilities:

Daily troubleshooting of performance and quality issues on the paper treating line.
Implementation and leadership of process improvement initiatives.
Effective collaboration with process operators to ensure operational excellence.

The Ideal Candidate:

Must hold a formal qualification in Chemical Engineering - Bachelor or Masters level.
Possesses a strong foundation in process knowledge, particularly in paper or chemical processing industries.
Demonstrates leadership capabilities, ideally with at least 2 years of professional management experience or is a highly motivated recent graduate.
Exhibits high literacy and communication skills.
Is proficient in the Microsoft suite (Excel & Word), with good computer skills.
Understands relevant OH&S regulations, Australian Standards, and systems such as ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.
