Air Liquide Australia provides innovative, responsive and customer focused services to our product range, which improves the performance of our customers while helping protect the environment.As the ASU Plant Operator, you will ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant and equipment at the ASU (Air Separation Units based in Kwinana WA) as aligned with Air Liquide Australia and local regulatory standards.How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?Operate the plant and equipment at the ASU safely and efficiently from DCS (Distributed Control System- Delta V & Yokogawa)Meet customer requirements for products (i.e. purity, pressure and flow), within safety limitations, by controlling and operating plant equipmentMaintain and improve plant efficiency and integrity by monitoring and analyzing equipment and reporting faults and improvement opportunitiesPerform plant startups & shutdowns and trouble-shooting as directed by the Facility ManagerPerform liquid storage tanks & bulk tanker loading dutiesPerform permitting duties as & when required with contracted and in-house maintenance staff, including isolations & LOTOComplete daily plant logs, raising any issues with the Plant ManagerMaintain site security by monitoring and controlling access to the siteDay & Night shift work on a 24/7 sportsman roster, 168 hours every 4 weeks, 12 hour shifts (including working unsupervised on night shifts)Are you a MATCH?Previous experience with Air Separation Unit operations considered strongly advantageousMechanical trade/plant operator certification, engineering degree also considered advantageousExperience with DeltaV and/or Yokogawa DCS systems considered advantageousKnowledge of applicable standards and regulations such as dangerous goods/substances handling and OHSProcess Operation experienceProven fault finding skillsComputer literacyKnowledge of PLC Controls, Analysers and Plant InstrumentationExperience with safe work permitting processesAbility to understand process operations and mechanical equipmentExperience working in a 24/7 continuous shift rosterWe OFFERFull-time permanent role based in Kwinana, WAOn-site parkingSalary Continuance InsuranceAnnual salary increase based on performanceLong-term career development opportunities locally and/or internationallyOpportunities to undertake interesting and challenging work within Air Liquide’s global businessCulturally-diverse environmentAccess to Air Liquide’s discount platform with over 350 retailersAbout Air LiquideA world leader in gases, technologies and services for Industry and Health, Air Liquide is present in 78 countries with approximately 64,500 employees and serves more than 3.8 million customers and patients.
