VML has forged a path as a growth partner for our client that is part creative agency, part consultancy, and part technology powerhouse.YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELLAccount Managers champion the implementation of all projects across the agency. They are the linchpin of the team ensuring all projects are delivered in a timely manner in alignment with the client's brand and business objectives working to connect all areas of expertise across VML. Account Managers handle the day-to-day operations of agency projects, including research, scope development and project execution. In this role, you will implement work from end to end whilst fostering strong relationships with clients, the client engagement team and more broadly within the agency.RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You will be one of the key account managers and client partners for the Defence Force Recruiting client.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day implementation of project deliverables and ensures these deliverables are ready for client presentation/approval
  • Works in conjunction with agency resourcing to ensure projects are scheduled and delivered in a timely manner
  • Ensures conference reports and/or meeting notes are completed and distributed to clients and all relevant stakeholders
  • Initiates/drafts scope documents and works with team to secure client approval
  • Helps manage briefs and debriefs in conjunction with the Account Director or Group Account Director
  • Initiates projects within the agency, following agency processes and systems
  • Collaborates with other agency partners to ensure goals and deadlines are met
  • Builds financial management skills, including preparation of billing and monthly projections in conjunction with the Account Director or Group Account Director
  • Actively participates in key client meetings and VML presentations
  • Proactively seeks and sustains knowledge of client's business, industry and competition

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Two to five years' experience in an advertising, digital or inhouse agency
  • Demonstrates a passion for marketing and advertising
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach and consistently takes initiative.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills. Keynote skills desirable.
  • Interest in growing technology and digital knowledge
  • Ability to deliver campaigns across multiple channels including traditional media channels and digital.
