You'll report to the Senior Superintendent, and work alongside a close-knit team that support our QNGR project, based at Wulkuraka. You'll play a critical role in performing preventative and corrective maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics, rectification & post work testing, damage and vandalism rectification works, on the NGR fleet of trains.We'll look to you for:

Performing fault diagnosis, identification and rectification on both the electrical and mechanical systems of the vehicle.
Performing damage and vandalism repairs as required, including data capture and effective use of the Maximo system.
Liaising with the Technical Specialists / ISST teams in order to ensure repairs are effected with no impact to in service performance
Assist in the identification and production of vehicle modification programs to improve reliability and maintainability.
Performing post work testing and validation as necessary.
Building positive relationships with drivers and the Operator in order to support a successful fleet operation.
Updating the Maintenance Management System with all work carried out.

Experience in a similar role, servicing/repairing Electrical systems.
Cert III Electrotechnology or equivalent.
A current QLD Electrical Licence or the ability to obtain.
