- Ensure application of Contract, Claims and Insurance Management Manual and Alstom governance
- With the core project team, prepare Contract Management Strategy Plan
- Careful analysis of the contract to build and drive implementation of Contract/Claim Management Strategy Plan, as well as keep it updated with project team on quarterly basis
- Monitor works toward contract obligations, including monitoring of project schedule toward achieving contractual milestones
- Ensure timely issuance of contractual notices to customers and partners
- Establish and implement project specific commercial procedures, particularly regarding correspondences, notifications, insurance, variation requests/orders and claims preparation files
- For and with Project Manager/Director, monitor and manage correspondence by analyzing incoming and outgoing correspondence to customers and partners
- Develop and produces any project specific processes and ways of working for contract/claim management
- Anticipate events and risks associated with the contract management activities; proposes alternative proactive solutions to keep the situation under control
- Develop a pragmatic commercial approach based on contractual analysis of the project, to protect Alstom interests toward customers and partners
- Works closely with the project team, to identify and mitigate risks; and to identify, maximize, and leverage claim opportunities
- Tertiary degree in Law, Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Extensive experience in Contract & Claim Management (preferred) / Project Management
- Excellent record and professional background on Alliance Projects with TOC financial model
- Ability to anticipate and manage conflicting priorities.
- Sound knowledge and experience of Contract Management and Project Management tools and systems
- Ability to be operationally effective and accountable.
- Willingness and ability to be creative and bring forward new ideas and innovations.
