- Oversee the internal Security Compliance Program both proactively and reactively to assess the effectiveness of security practices
- Develop, implement, and monitor procedures, training, and security practices to safeguard AU & PNG employees, customers, visitors, customers’ shipments and DHL assets and information against loss or damage
- Protect the business from risks and prepare the business for disruptions by fulfilling the role of Crisis & Business Continuity Manager for DHL Express AU & PNG
- This is a full-time permanent position working 38 hours per week from Monday through Friday. Work hours may be irregular especially in times of emergency or during specific protracted investigations
- Extensive security-based experience gained through import/export industry at a senior level
- Degree or Diploma in relevant Security field
- Completion of a Nationally recognised Investigation program
- Completion of a nationally recognised Business Resilience program
- Completion of nationally recognised Risk Management program
- Ability to develop a culture of quality & service excellence
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude
