About the role:The position provides case management and community support to parents/cares based on parenting and life skills including case management, assessments, and advocacy and parenting support. The position works in partnership with an Aboriginal Family Support Worker in providing a range of intervention that aim to improve outcomes for children that focus on parents/cares.To be considered for this position, you will require:
Degree in Social Work and eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, or degree, or post graduate qualifications in Psychology or other related field.
Demonstrated experience and skills in providing parenting support to vulnerable families that is child focused and family centred including counselling, case management and parenting support.
Demonstrated case management experience in the context of child and family services and facilitating case conferences.
Holds a current NT Drivers Licence.
