- Ensuring the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes, and preparation techniques
- Ensuring that your work area, equipment and section is stocked and kept clean at all times, in accordance with current health and hygiene regulations
- Taking on other ad-hoc duties like a true team player, including washing up as required
- Commercial Cookery qualification and 1-2 years previous culinary experience
- An understanding of HACCP and the ability to comply with local laws on food handling
- Great communication - you'll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
- A good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths
- The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 23 kg, which can also involve bending and kneeling
- Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster - nights, weekend and public holiday shifts are all part of the job.
- Compliant - must hold a Food Safety Certificate
- Must meet the legal requirement to work in Australia without limitations or restrictions
