We're seeking a Retention Specialist who's ready to lead with heart, think outside the box, and help us build lasting relationships with our incredible donor community.Job DescriptionAbout UsRoyal Far West is a Manly-based charity supporting children from rural and remote NSW with developmental, behavioural, learning and mental health challenges. We deliver multidisciplinary care through our beachside centre, telehealth services, and community programs-bringing hope and healing to families who often have nowhere else to turn.Your RoleThis is a role for someone who loves connecting dots, crafting stories, and driving innovation. You'll lead donor retention campaigns across digital, email and direct mail channels, designing journeys that make every supporter feel seen, valued, and inspired.You'll also dive into donor data to uncover insights, reduce churn, and help shape the future of fundraising at Royal Far West.What You'll Do
  • Deliver donor retention campaigns (appeals, newsletters, surveys, bequest comms)
  • Manage donor servicing touchpoints-welcome letters, receipting, inbox support
  • Implement automated donor journeys and decline recovery strategies
  • Coordinate donor milestone celebrations and thank you touchpoints
  • Support Giving Day and loyalty initiatives
  • Analyse donor behaviour and report on retention KPIs
  • Collaborate with fundraising, marketing, and data teams to deliver seamless donor experiences
Desired Skills and ExperienceWhat You Bring
  • 2+ years in fundraising, marketing, or donor engagement (or transferable experience)
  • Experience managing direct mail and digital campaigns
  • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Familiarity with fundraising databases (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • A collaborative, proactive, and donor-first mindset
