Title: Civil EngineerThis is a significant period of growth, and we are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Adelaide team.In this role, you’ll contribute to a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects across the Defence, Water, Transport, and Buildings sectors. These include roads, rail, water infrastructure, land development, and building-related civil works. Experience in civil design—particularly for defence and infrastructure projects—is highly desirable.As part of the Civil Engineering discipline group, your responsibilities will include:Delivering engineering design, calculations, technical specifications, and reports.Leading and managing design teams to meet technical, quality, and delivery standards.Planning and executing engineering tasks across concept, preliminary, and detailed design phases.Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams locally and nationally to deliver project outcomes.Engaging with project managers, design managers, and clients to provide updates and prepare well-structured proposals and documentation.Reviewing designs to ensure compliance with standards, guidelines, and project requirements.Mentoring junior engineers and supporting the development of the discipline group.Assisting in the preparation of bids and tender submissions.This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering strategic infrastructure while developing your career within a supportive, collaborative, and forward-thinking team.As the ideal applicant you will have:A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)CPEng preferredExperience working within an engineering consulting environmentExperience working in a broad range of infrastructure projects within a multi-disciplinary environmentPrevious experience in Civil Infrastructure for projects in one or more of the defence,building civil and transport sectors is essential in the roleExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with relevant standards and design guidelines to the civil engineering disciplineThe ability to obtain chartership within a reasonable agreed time frameA Practical knowledge and commitment to Health and SafetyAustralian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a defence security clearanceWhat do KBR offer?We are committed to social and environmental sustainability and delivering projects with a digital mindset that drives innovation within our business, for our customers and stakeholders.Our people blend seamlessly into customer teams to help create a positive impact on the communities and environments they seek to improve.
