Operate, Maintain and ImproveWe currently have an opportunity for an experienced quarry/mining fixed-plant Boilermaker / Welder to perform fixed-plant maintenance at our Glasshouse Mountains Quarry, on a permanent, full-time basis. We are looking for candidates who have either a trade qualification as a fitter / boilermaker, or ample relevant experience. This role will be a day shift position – with a 5am start and 5pm finish, Monday to Friday! Friday and Saturdays are paid as overtime.In your new role with us, you will:Conducting general fixed-plant maintenanceInspection and maintenance of crushers, conveyors, screens and chutesCommunicating and planning repairs according to requirements in conjunction with the Maintenance Supervisor/Leading HandExecuting repairs as per scheduled timelineMonitor improvements to maintenance tasks and processes or plant performanceThis role is a great fit for you if:Applicants will need to be experienced in crusher, screening, conveyor repairs (fixed plant maintenance background)Preferences are for trades qualified in fitter/boilermakerWill need to be fit – constant manual handlingNeed to be able to work within a small crewWillingness to listen and learnMust be reliableHold a current drivers licenseHold current Confined Space and Working at Heights qualificationsAre committed to Zero Harm and a safe working cultureWhat we offer:You will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate plus allowancesOngoing career and development opportunitiesOur Benefits
