At Vasey RSL Care it is rewarding to know that, through our work, we are honouring the men and women who fought for our freedom and democracy.To find out more about Vasey RSL Care and the important work we do, visit our websiteAbout the RoleWorking with the support of a Clinical Operations Manager, as Care Advisor you will provide person-centred assessment, care and service options for consumers receiving Home Care Packages.You will monitor budgets and maintain positive outcomes for the consumer and the Vasey RSL Care brand.You will have your own client allocation, however, will work collaboratively within a growing team of friendly and capable Care Advisors and Service Coordinators.Some travel around metropolitan Melbourne will be required.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will be person-focussed and passionate about achieving high quality outcomes.You will also have:
  • Demonstrated experience assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating quality care and the ability to set, review and monitor measurable and achievable goals within the care plan in a timely manner
  • Ability to deliver services with a strong person-centred, consumer-focused approach
  • Strong cultural awareness and understanding of care needs relating to different cultural backgrounds
  • Demonstrated organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and use of client management systems
  • Current driver's licence and ability to drive
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and have proof of the right to work in Australia
