-We are seeking to establish a pool of Gardener – Handypersons for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2026. Are you able to work two or more days a week? Dunsborough PS is seeking dedicated Gardener – Handypersons to join a gardening team and help keep our school grounds thriving and well-maintained.As our Gardener – Handyperson, you will play a key role in improving and maintaining our school’s gardens and grounds.Key Responsibilities
- Maintain soft and hard landscaping, including turf care and garden structures.
- Keep walkways clean and safe.
- Prune trees, shrubs, and hedges; care for plants and flowers.
- Operate our reticulation system with support
- Perform general maintenance tasks, such as turning compost.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with Departmental guidelines.
- Experience in gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping
- Knowledge of horticulture and gardening techniques
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- A strong work ethic and pride in your work
