There is regular exposure to many different pain presentations; acute, chronic and cancer. Our unit works closely with the Palliative Care Unit within the hospital and the local Hospice. As a Trauma Hospital there is the opportunity for increasing procedural experience as well as working with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. - Completed fellowship training in applicant’s primary specialty.
- Completed Core Training Stage Faculty of Pain Medicine.
- Demonstrated advanced ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care.
- Demonstrated experience in pain research and evidence if able of current research undertakings or scientific publications.
- Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate and post graduate medical teaching.
