There is regular exposure to many different pain presentations; acute, chronic and cancer. Our unit works closely with the Palliative Care Unit within the hospital and the local Hospice. As a Trauma Hospital there is the opportunity for increasing procedural experience as well as working with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. Completed fellowship training in applicant’s primary specialty.
Completed Core Training Stage Faculty of Pain Medicine.
Demonstrated advanced ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care.
Demonstrated experience in pain research and evidence if able of current research undertakings or scientific publications.
Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate and post graduate medical teaching.
