As a Corporate Accountant, you will be an integral part of the finance team, contributing to the financial stability and growth of the organisation. Your expertise will drive accurate financial reporting, compliance with industry regulations, and strategic financial decision-making.Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Upholding the highest standards and best practices in financial reporting within the group.
  • Keeping abreast of financial regulations, accounting norms, and the latest audit software tools.
  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations (income tax, CGT, payroll tax, GST, PTR, and LSL), providing necessary support.
  • Overseeing critical aspects of monthly management and board reporting for group, joint venture, and subsidiary entities.
  • Facilitating seamless inter-company billing and recharge processes, including invoicing for accounts receivable.
  • Compiling and organizing financial data and account records to facilitate the consolidation and organizing financial data and account records to facilitate the consolidation and analysis of financial statements and performance results.
  • Managing balance sheet reconciliations, meticulously explaining any discrepancies, movements, or irregularities.
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual IFRS statutory financial statements.
  • Supporting external audit processes, including preparing audit workpapers and addressing audit inquiries promptly.
  • Assisting with day-to-day treasury activities and related joint venture entities.
  • Taking the lead in managing joint venture export sales ERP accounting, contract adjustments, reconciliations, and communications with marketing and logistics partners.
  • Leading ERP system maintenance, including access management and addressing issues with the system provider.
  • Providing assistance with special technical and commercial projects, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Offering backup support for the financial team at the site.
  • Supporting the corporate team with Internal Control and Risk Control Framework testing.
About you
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with non- financial stakeholders
