You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Retail section of the Pharmacy, ensuring that our customers receive outstanding service and that United Chemists Marion Domain continues to thrive.Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Retail section of the Pharmacy, including training staff, scheduling and overseeing daily operations.
  • Ensure customer's needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage inventory and ensure that products are well stocked and appropriately priced
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability
  • Collaborate with Pharmacist Manager to provide a seamless and integrated experience for customers
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for customers and staff
About YouIf you have the drive and enthusiasm for achieving budget results through exceptional people management and leadership, as well as experience working in a dynamic retail environment, then this is the role for you.Qualifications:
  • Previous Retail management experience (essential), preferably in a Pharmacy or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy operations and Retail best practices
  • Sound knowledge of POS WORKS, stock control, cash handling, security and store presentation
  • Certificate I, II or III in Community Pharmacy (preferred)
  • High competency levels using various computer applications
  • A clear understanding of staff rostering requirements and store budgets
  • Solution-focused
  • Experience managing staff performance in all areas
  • Building relationships with suppliers
  • Strong ability to promote the Pharmacy as a centre for advice, assistance and information in areas of health and well-being
  • Ability to assist in any area of the Pharmacy, including orders, counter service, telephone service, dispensary and store merchandising
  • Provide your team with support and guidance, being involved in mentoring and development opportunities in the pursuit of continuous improvement.
