The CompanyI am working with an 100% Australian Owned and Operated Company who are a well-known and trusted name in the market. They are a vertically integrated group of companies in the construction, demolition, civil & recycling industries. They have achieved and maintained certification against the international standards for Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management systems and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.The RoleYour role as an Architectural Drafter is all about working with a team to manage the safe, profitable, timely and quality delivery of projects. You’ll have plenty of opportunities for technical training so you can learn on the job. And you can also look forward to:- Assistance to the Director of Planning & Design on urban design layouts in CAD
- Plan SA application experience using the portal to submit applications
- Building codes NCC awareness
- Planning approval process experience
- Building rules consent process experience
- Basic project management experience - able to oversee project from start to finish
- All-rounder that can be flexible and enthusiastic about working across a variety of projects
- Reporting to the Director of Planning & Design and working together, collaboratively on projectsTo be SuccessfulYou will have demonstrated 2+ years previous experience in a similar role, working on commercial projects in the South Australian market. You will have good understanding of project management within the construction industry.
