The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate and coordinate specific research activity under the direction of the Trial Manager and the Director of the Renal Clinical Trial Unit. These trials include fully sponsored Pharmaceutical trials, Collaborative Group trials and Investigator driven trials. The trials incorporate pre-dialysis and dialysis patients from Westmead, Blacktown and Auburn Hospitals.
The role assists in the targeted recruitment as defined in the clinical trial agreement, perform protocol related activities, data collection and data entry, collection of all adverse events and maintenance of essential documentation. - Experience in the use of electronic data capture programs (EDC) used in clinical trials.
- Demonstrated superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to deal with sensitive issues.
- Demonstrated effective time management, delegation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Ability to or willingness to learn venepuncture.
- Current Driver's Licence valid within Australia
