Are you looking for an opportunity to provide leadership in evidence-based Occupational Therapy, as well as clinical research, quality improvement and program evaluation? In collaboration with the Associate Director of Allied Health (OT), the Occupational Therapy Managers and Occupational Therapy staff this Grade 4 Occupational Therapy role provides clinical leadership and implements service delivery initiatives across the occupational therapy service at Eastern Health. The successful applicant will provide clinical expertise, will lead evidence based quality and research projects, assist with operational management as required and will be involved in the development of Occupational Therapy staff. The Eastern Health Occupational Therapy service is committed to the provision of quality, evidence-based care, and strongly values professional development and clinical supervision.About youTo be successful in this role you will possess:
  • Current Occupational Therapy registration with AHPRA
  • Postgraduate studies in Occupational Therapy, Public Health, Research or Management
  • Recognition as a clinical expert in physical health occupational therapy
  • Well-developed leadership, supervisory and team development skills
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, develop and implement service delivery initiatives and clinical research
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Strong commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong organisation and self-management skills
  • Autonomy in work practice
