- Build, operate, and evolve the Displayr Cloud platform using IaC.
- Migrate existing services and deploy them into production.
- Build production-ready Kubernetes environments.
- Manage cloud costs, including management of reserved VM instances.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our CI/CD pipelines.
- Uplift our in-house testing system.
- Improve infrastructure and application observability.
- Automate monitoring and alerting.
- Improve the incident response process.
- Provide support and advocate to stakeholders on DevOps practices.
- Assist with management and governance of infrastructure resources.
- Working on call as part of a rotating roster.
- You are an experienced full-stack or back-end engineer who enjoys the constant challenges and changes the DevOps world provides you.
- You will have a minimum of five years’ experience working as a DevOps Engineer, which has been complimented by:
- Min 2+ years of commercial experience coding with Typescript, Java, or C#.
- Min 2+ year experience in managing a major cloud - ideally Azure.
- Experience administrating cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) with Azure preferred.
- Competent coding in either Typescript, Java or C#
- Linux administration experience.
- Infrastructure as code experience with Terraform, Ansible, or CDK.
- Experience with containerization using Docker.
- Able to work at a fast pace, prioritize your work and think ahead.
- Experience with Kubernetes and its ecosystem. Such as AKS, Service Mesh, Helm, and container-based deployment.
- Exposure to cloud-based deployment environment.
- Knowledge and experience with IaC tools and ecosystems such as Pulumi, CDK, and Terraform.
- Experience with major cloud-based CI platforms such as CircleCI, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience in cloud resources and application monitoring in production.
- Experience in service operation review and post-mortem review.
- Working knowledge of IaaS. Such as load balancing, networking, firewall, and server management.
- Knowledge of security best practices in a cloud environment.
- Cloud cost management.
- Technical writing skills.
- Azure certifications.
- Front-end: TypeScript/JavaScript/React.
- Back-end: C#, SQL.
- Supporting systems: C#, Python, R, Rust, Node.js.
- Platforms: Azure, AWS, Kubernetes.
