Maintenance Shutdown PlannerGlencore’s McArthur River Mine (MRM) is a world-class zinc-lead mine with a long future. You’ll find our mine in the Gulf of Carpentaria 900 km southeast of Darwin and 64 km from Borroloola. We produce and process zinc, lead and silver from our open cut mine. About the role:Reporting trough to the Maintenance Superintendent the primary focus of the Maintenance Shutdown Planner is to provide shutdown planning, scheduling and logistics support in line with the Major events Calendar.Accountabilities:

Development and maintain the site Major Events Calendar (MEC).
Take ownership and drive the key deliverables in line with the sites documented shutdown management process and planning cycle.
Planning work in accordance with shutdown management process, accurately identifying the required components, resources and tools prior to scheduling.
Develop quality work packs for each task with detailed description of work, safety documentation, inspection and test plans, QA/QC requirements, drawings, permit requirements at a minimum.
Optimise work activities to ensure efficient and cost-effective use of resources.
Implement lessons learnt from previous events.
Tracking shutdown performance against plan and use of S Curves to track area performance.
Promote sustainability of Work Management while identifying improvement opportunities that increase the reliability of plant and equipment.

Successful applicant will have:

Trade Qualified Mechanical trade qualification is preferred, along with experience using SAP or similar computer based maintenance planning system.
Demonstrated knowledge of asset management principles.
Demonstrated experience in scheduling.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (including Microsoft Project).
