The Health Service is a near 300-bed public hospital that provides Aged Care & Rehabilitation Service, Community Health Service, and Mental Health Service, all on one site. The hospital has undergone recent redevelopment, including a new Emergency Department with 47 patient spaces and a new Mental Health residential facility.PositionWe are looking for a skilled and experienced Consultant - Anaesthetist to lead the multidisciplinary team and provide specialist anaesthetic services to patients while promoting patient safety and quality of care. The successful applicant will provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education to doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners, and other health workers. The position works towards achieving national, state, and East Metropolitan Health Service performance standards and targets in collaboration with the Head of Department Anaesthesia and other Consultants.Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must be AHPRA registered Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or within 6 months of receiving the fellowship.
