Our Melbourne Water Resources team provides multi-disciplinary, integrated delivery of water resources services across all industry sectors. We particularly provide services in the areas of drainage design, flood impact assessments, hydrological and hydraulic modelling/design and integrated water/stormwater management.The successful candidate will join our Water Resources and Water & Asset Management Group leadership teams and will help drive the implementation of the AECOM ANZ Water Resources Strategy. This is a career-defining opportunity for a driven professional to play an instrumental role in the continued growth of our water-related service offering across Victoria.What will a day in this role look like:
  • Work on projects predominantly involving hydrological and hydraulic modelling, flood risk investigations, catchment studies and dam break assessments.
  • Collaborate with a large number of professionals in a range of geographies.
  • You will be responsible for leading and delivering the project technical services, focusing on technical excellence and quality.
  • Build relationships with internal and external clients across multiple groups and business lines, ensuring client service satisfaction.
  • As a motivational leader, you will coach a range of professionals, assist with their career development, resource planning, whilst fostering the growth and development of our team.

  • Tertiary qualifications in civil or civil/environmental engineering & RPEV/CPEng.
  • Good working knowledge of industry standards and guidelines including ARR 2019.
  • High level of proficiency using industry-standard hydrologic and hydraulic modelling and design software such as RORB and TUFLOW.
  • An appetite for a fast-paced multi-disciplinary project delivery environment, and the demonstrated ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
  • Strong client focus, high level of motivation, dedication and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ideally, 12 + years professional experience.
