Job Description Client ProfileOur client operates a landmark hospitality venue in Bondi Beach, renowned for its diverse offerings, entertainment, events and a lot of fun! With multiple revenue streams and a dynamic atmosphere, it is a key destination for locals and visitors alike.Job DescriptionThe Operations Manager / 2IC will be responsible for driving the day-to-day operations of the venue, working closely with the General Manager to ensure exceptional service and operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a large and diverse workforce.Key responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing daily operations across all venue departments
  • Managing and mentoring a large staff base and management team
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements
  • Maintaining operational efficiency and brand standards
  • Supporting the General Manager in strategic and financial objectives
Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will be an experienced operations leader with a proven track record in large, multi-faceted hospitality environments. You will combine strong people management skills with operational and commercial acumen.Key skills and experience:
  • Previous experience as an Operations Manager, 2IC, or senior department head
  • Ability to lead large teams in a high-volume setting
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences
  • Sound knowledge of compliance, licensing, and hospitality best practices
