You will be working with engineers on backend APIs for the Australia's #1 banking app - CommBank App. We offer regular opportunities to work on some of the finest IT systems in Australia, as well as opportunity to develop careers across different functions and teams within the wider Bank.You'll be hands-on coding and be responsible for shaping the evolution of this system by designing and developing micro services, data access layers, REST API(s), and writing integration services for third-party API consumption, manage risk with safe deployments and automated testing, as well as learning more about back-end engineering. You'll also be invited to join our regular engineering guilds and provide technical guidance to the junior members of the team.We are interested in hearing from people who haveProven hands-on experience in developing backend applications using such as C# .NET Core, REST APIs, WebAPI, Node.JS, Next.JSProven hands-on experience in developing front applications using Next.js, React.js, Angular, TypeScriptProven experience in solution architecture design for enterprise scale applicationsYou’re passionate about building developing and deploying high quality software solutionsPride themselves on their ability to collaborate, present ideas, influence and challenge stakeholdersYou’re actively involved in continuous learning, experimentation and innovation, ready to apply and promote industry best patterns and practices, driving high quality outcomes to solve core business objectivesSolid hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices. GitHub, CI/CD, Automated Testing, infrastructure cloud pipelines, logging and monitoring.Are constantly thinking outside the box and breaking boundaries to solve complex technical problems and core business objectivesAre knowledgeable of security best practices and principlesWork on cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment and addressing inter-dependenciesCoaching and mentoring junior members in the teamTech SkillsWe use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks.
