This is a hands-on role working across ITSM, ITOM, and CSM modules, with opportunities to innovate and collaborate across teams.To be successful as a ServiceNow Application Specialist you will:
  • Define solution architecture for ServiceNow implementations.
  • Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications.
  • Design workflows, service catalogs, portals, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications and performance.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
  • Experience with scoped app development and integrations.
  • Familiarity with platform security and compliance.
Skills and Experience:Essential:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
  • Experience with ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and Sales & Order Management.
  • Hands-on with Flow Designer, Service Portal, and IntegrationHub.
  • Familiarity with update sets, ACLs, and security configuration.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator across teams.
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, AngularJS or experience with DevOps tools (Aft, CI/CD)
  • Familiarity with CMDB, Discovery, Asset Management.
  • Experience developing scoped applications.
