Underground site placements
7:7 roster - 1 week days, 1 week nights or 2:2 roster - 7 days /7nights
Ongoing roles for the right candidates
$80/hr flat + super on all hours

Duties Include:

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues - Use diagnostic tools and onboard systems to identify faults in engines, hydraulics, braking, and electrical systems.
Preventive maintenance - Scheduled inspections and servicing to prevent breakdowns. Check fluids, filters, belts, brakes, and wear parts.
Repair and overhaul - Engines, transmissions, final drives, and hydraulic components. Welding and fabrication as needed for structural repairs.
Hydraulic and pneumatic system work - Inspect, test, repair leaks, and replace hoses or components. Tune pressure settings and actuators
Electrical troubleshooting - Work on lighting, wiring harnesses, battery systems, sensors, alternators, starters.
Working non open cut drills and experience in construction and remote-control exposure required.

Underground loaders (LHDs)
Jumbo drills
Rock bolters
Scissor lifts
Utility trucks and personnel carriers
Ventilation fans and pumps
Crushers and conveyors

We're Looking For:

Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate
5+ years post trade with 2 years experience in mining
Underground mining experience (advantageous but not essential for all sites)
Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
High regard for safety and following procedures

Australian recognised Trade Cert
Current HR Driver's Licence (advantageous)
Cert III in mobile maintenance
