On Line Recruitment are looking for a Cleaner!Our client is a leading local government organisation that provides essential services to the Shoalhaven area, focusing on sustainability, infrastructure, and representation. They are dedicated to maintaining high operational standards and providing for the wellbeing and interests of the community.They are now seeking a detail-oriented Cleaner to join their team 5 days a week, based at their administrative building in Nowra. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene within the office and communal spaces, ensuring a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.As a Cleaner, your role will include:

Performing routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming across office areas, meeting rooms, and communal spaces
Sanitising restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces to maintain high hygiene standards
Emptying waste and recycling bins and ensuring correct disposal procedures are followed
Replenishing essential supplies such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning products
Conducting periodic deep cleaning of carpets, windows, and office furniture as required
Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Building Services team
Ensuring all cleaning duties are carried out efficiently and in accordance with workplace health and safety regulations

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in a commercial or office cleaning role
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
The ability to work independently while also coordinating with the Team Supervisor as required
Good time management skills to complete tasks within set schedules
A proactive and reliable work ethic to ensure a well-maintained and presentable workplace
Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures related to cleaning equipment and chemicals
