OnsitePurpose of Role: The purpose of this role is to support the Weir business in supplying parts to Fortescue through timely and effective inventory management, while complying with all OHS&E statutory and lean manufacturing system requirements in place with Weir Minerals Australia Ltd.   • Participate in daily picking/packing/distribution operations.
  • Operating a Forklift to move materials around the warehouse
  • Receiving stock
  • Manage Parts storage and accurate location recording
  • Use SAP to conduct stock takes, stock checks and cycle counts
  • Inventory management through SAP and SAP reports ZSTGR / VL06O
  • Liaise with the Estimator and Service Administrators in respect of dispatch / receiving / outstanding parts / delivery dates
  • Use SAP for Stock Receipts, Goods Issuing (Including SAPPAK data), print Pick slips, Cycle counts, Bin maintenance, Inventory reports, stock conversions and FIFO; first in, first out
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
  • Forklift ticket and experience operating a Forklift
  • Experience working in a warehousing position or environment
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Experience using SAP is desirable but not essential
