Send your responses toOverviewThe LAND 200-3 Workforce Analyst (Training Systems) is responsible for:- Determining the learning and development information requirements for the projects life cycle.- Conducting the planning and implementation of information collection, in relation to the user level learning and development.- Assisting with the preparation of learning and development business of cases.- Preparing the human performance needs analysis.- Conducting competency/task/gap analysis through the Performance Needs Analysis Report (PNAR)/Training Needs Analysis (TNA) processes to support the development of Second Pass workforce planning.- Further development and refinement of the Initial Training Concept (ITC); and development of the Training Requirements Specification (TRS).- Providing Training related input into the Integrated Logistic Support Plan (ILSP) and subordinate ILS and project documents.- Liaison with Defence training authorities and organisations to determine ongoing training development and delivery requirements.- Preparing job and task profiles, needs statements and target population/feasibility/ occupation/risk analysis.- Preparing job specification/training requirements and specifications.- Preparing learning & development (L&D) strategies that adhere to Defence policies, procedures, and guidance notes.- Delivering project outcomes that comply with relevant legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks and Defence quality and configuration management systems.- Working collaboratively, developing and maintaining beneficial, effective relationships with the customer, colleagues and other stakeholders.The position reports to the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager, and may be required to provide subject matter support to the Project Managers and the Project Director.Experience/Skills SoughtAs the Workforce Analyst (Training Systems) you are a specialist practitioner who works effectively in a complex environment, thinks critically, applies excellent problem-solving skills and manages competing priorities with a focus on mitigating risks for acquisition and adoption of new technologies in a challenging environment.You are highly organised, energetic, able to work with limited guidance, and outcome orientated with outstanding communication skills.The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:- The ability to provide and deliver strategic level advice, presentations, and reports to the Defence senior executive while demonstrating forward-thinking and an appreciation of the unique characteristics of the training systems in the Defence workforce environment.- The ability to employ industry best practice when undertaking all duties.- Knowledge and experience in ICT along with ILS processes in accordance with industry and Defence policy.- Proficiency in the understanding and application of the content of the- Knowledge of the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL) and the National Skills Framework (NSF).- Highly effective, formal and informal communication skills including advanced technical writing skills.- Initiative in keeping personal skills up to date, maintaining awareness of industry developments and pursuing continuous improvement opportunities.- Ability to analyse, design, plan, execute, and evaluate work to time, cost and quality targets while assessing and evaluating risk.Essential- Postgraduate qualifications in Human Resources, Education or related Workforce Training discipline; or equivalent work experience.- A current security clearance (minimum NV1).- More than 8 years experience in the field of logistics management.- Understanding of workforce analysis- Understanding of Defence processes and structure.- Understanding of the One Defence Capability System (formerly the Capability Life Cycle).
