A leading plastic packaging manufacturer based in Narangba is seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to join their operations team.This permanent full-time role will see you supervising the day shift team and driving performance, safety, and quality across the line. You’ll be responsible for overseeing production activities, supporting your team, and ensuring efficient packaging processes are maintained.Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead the day shift production team (7am – 3Pm, Monday to Friday)
Ensure production goals, safety standards, and quality controls are consistently met
Troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
Coordinate workflow and ensure timely handovers across shifts
Train and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to WHS standards
Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to keep machinery running smoothly
Maintain accurate shift records and reporting

The Candidate

Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Leader in manufacturing ideally within the plastic or packaging industry
Strong leadership and communication skills
Strong mechanical aptitude – able to understand how machines and production lines function
Ability to work independently and solve problems under pressure
Sound understanding of WHS and quality systems
