Due to our Rail teams continued growth and recent work won we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Track Design Engineer who will take the lead on track design projects in VIC and contribute to major rail projects nationally.With a minimum of 10 year’s commercial experience in track design (Pway) and project management, you will provide technical design expertise/delivery to existing clients.Suitable applicants will have/be:

Experience producing track design work across major Rail projects in Victoria
An engineering degree and a minimum of 10+ years of track / permanent way alignment design related experience
Needs to be Chartered (CPEng) and preferably with existing competencies with the Victorian and national rail agencies.
Practical knowledge and experience using civil design software i.e. 12d or Bentley OpenRail or Microstation
Worked independently to complete the planning, design and execution of projects that meet or exceed client expectations, within the agreed budget, and are delivered on or ahead of schedule
Supervise project staff and review deliverables to ensure compliance with technical and quality assurance standards
Monitor costs on an ongoing basis and do not allow them to exceed the predetermined and approved budget costs
Working knowledge of commercial arrangements and relationships
