- Manage all operations associated with the crop growing season including:
Ground preparation
Planting
Fertilizing
Spraying
Harvesting
Grading
- Inspection of pivots to apply the correct level of water for moisture of growing and harvesting crops.
- Plan and carry out seeding, growing and harvesting.
- Order parts for machinery repairs, ensuring competitive pricing.
- Undertaking breeding and raising of livestock under the company program.
- Maintain workplace, health and safety standards and to adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- You will have proven experience in the operational management of a mixed crop and livestock farm.
- You will have good communication skills which will enable you to liaise with farm managers, agronomists and other team members.
- You will possess strong attention to detail and have passion and pride in the quality of your work.
- You must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Salary range $65,000 - $90,000 + superannuation
