Join us as a Commercial Pricing Analyst, supporting key account managers with billing, invoicing, and handling commercial inquiries. You'll be a go-to expert for performance reporting, data analysis, pricing and financial enquiries, and contribute to broader commercial initiatives across the Customer and Community (CNC) team.This role will suit someone with a background in finance or accounting, who has exceptional Excel skills and an eye for detail, who can problem solve in a logical and organised way, and clearly articulate and present data to tell a compelling story.Core responsibilities cover monthly performance reporting, billing, and basic commercial support, with opportunities to contribute and grow across wider commercial activities such as project evaluation, commercial negotiations, contract creation and analysis of new opportunities.It is a fantastic time to be part of the energy industry.   • Provide commercial analysis and pricing support for major accounts, including input into energy sales negotiations and procurement strategies
  • Conduct contract reviews, sales performance assessments, and customer data analysis to support decision making and account management
  • Manage month-end billing and invoicing processes for key customer accounts
  • Build and maintain Excel based financial models for scenario planning and sensitivity analysis
  • Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures related to energy pricing and account management
  • Support commercial initiatives with back-office expertise and proactive engagement
What Sets you Apart
We are looking for candidates with a Finance or Accounting background. Preferably with an Energy sector background.
  • Solid understanding of commercial pricing, financial analysis, and opportunity evaluation
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, modeling, and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Power Bi experience is desirable but not essential
  • Clear and confident communication of financial concepts and their business impact
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
