
Management Accountant (Multiple South Australia)

- Collaborate with budget holders to build and manage budgets and forecasts
- Prepare clear, accurate financial reports to support strategic decision-making
- Train and support administrative staff in financial systems and processes
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with a dispersed but connected team across SA and NT
- Take ownership of your work with a high degree of autonomy
- Tertiary qualification in accounting.
- Must have 2–4 years in a similar finance role—ideally in the public sector, higher education, or a large, complex organisation
- Strong understanding of financial and administrative systems and policies
- A high level of initiative, with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills to support and engage stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a commitment to purpose-driven work
- Must hold or be eligible for a National Police Certificate
- For NT location - must hold a valid NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
- COVID-19 vaccination required (in line with NT Health policy)
