Senior Solution Architect – Network Transformation experience -NSW/QLDWe're seeking a hands-on Solution Architect to support a high-impact Network Transformation Strategy. Working alongside the Infrastructure Domain Architect and Project Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping technical solution designs and preparing clear, actionable artefacts for approach-to-market activities across multiple workstreams.This role suits a technical generalist with strong infrastructure and networking knowledge, public sector experience, and a consulting mindset. You'll engage directly in design, documentation, and delivery – with the ability to work proactively, manage stakeholders, and deliver within tight timelines.Skillset

8+ years' experience in solution architecture with hands-on delivery in network/infrastructure domains.
Strong experience preparing technical artefacts and procurement documentation.
Knowledge of cloud networking, ZTNA, SCADA, segmentation, QoS, and security.
Proven ability to deliver fit-for-purpose documentation aligned with public sector procurement.
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and ability to work independently.
Previous consulting and public sector experience is highly valued.
Must be an Australian Citizen, based anywhere in Australia with hybrid working.
3 months initial engagement with possible extension

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with domain architects to shape and document future-state network architecture.
Prepare clear and targeted approach-to-market artefacts, including:

Statement of Requirements (SoR)
Scope of Works (SoW)
Architecture Diagrams (Current/Future State)
Integration & Implementation Plans
Evaluation Criteria Matrix
Security & Risk Assessments
Testing and Validation Plans
Support design and documentation across streams: wireless upgrades, CCTV uplift, cloud readiness, SCADA, and Zero Trust.
Align technical design with business needs and government architectural standards.
Engage with stakeholders, support procurement processes, and contribute to vendor evaluation.
Ensure delivery of quality documentation and outcomes within targeted timelines.
