About the Role
As a Citrix Engineer you’ll be responsible for the continual delivery of desktop services to end clients utilising desktop, application and user virtualisation/streaming, and any other methods of desktop services required. You’ll also be responsible for the timely action of customer service requests, within the agreed service level agreement (SLA) whilst maintaining accurate and timely updates to technical documentation and ticket notes. All while maintaining excellent relationships and ensuring effective and professional communication with all relevant parties.
You will work closely with our Intelligent Workplace team, who deliver SOE/image and customer facing services. As a Citrix Engineer, you will be passionate about Citrix and continually identify ways you can leverage the technology to enhance the customer experience. You will be familiar with Xendesktop and XenApp, and be a frequent user of Citrix Cloud services.

There is a focus on meeting SLA’s and priority incidents. There is also an element of on call in this role.
What you’ll do
Some of your day to day tasks may include responding and resolving incident, requests and issues raised by customers, and internal teams. You’ll be familiar will and follow ITIL methodologies and best practice. Ensuring systems and infrastructure are available with in agreed SLAs. With your expertise you’ll recommend replacement and upgrade of equipment and software to ensuring ongoing system stability. Your core focus will be on the platform of Citrix as a whole and its interrelated technologies, working closely with our SOE teams.
What you’ll bring
What does success look like in an exciting role like this? You’ll have 5 years or more experience in a technical role where you will have gained experience and knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Server & Desktop), an understanding of core Citrix technologies including XenApp and XenDesktop, advanced understanding of Microsoft Windows and Server software suites, previous experience in a Type 1 Hypervisor along with understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
Your problem solving and troubleshooting experience will be strong, having solved incidents (level 2/3) raised by the service desk, assisting end users. You’ll be a clear communicator, including documentation writing and standard operating procedures and your excellent customer focus will be key.
It is essential that you are an Australian citizen to be considered for this role and will need NV1 security clearance.
