Expect all this and more when you join Linfox.What does the job look like?The Inventory Controller is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management on site, delivering high-level stock control support through the efficient execution of receipting, stocktakes, cycle counts, stock adjustments, and credit returns. This role also manages damaged goods, order verification, out-of-stock and aged stock reporting, loss prevention initiatives, and the optimisation of product location accuracy to ensure seamless warehouse operations. You will also be responsible to manage a small team and ensure all KPIs are met. This will be a permanent position (Mon - Fri) and based at Wodonga. Key Areas:

Ensure timely and accurate inventory processes, including stock receipting, cycle counts, stocktakes, adjustments, and returns
Perform root cause analysis of stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions
Provide regular reporting and maintain accurate records using the client's mainframe system
Maintain stock integrity and visibility while minimising product loss
Develop and maintain Linfox procedures during system downtime and audit requirements
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer KPIs are achieved
Actively contribute to a safe working environment and uphold Linfox's Vision Zero safety culture

Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing or transport environments
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and experience using RF and warehousing systems
Knowledge of inventory best practices and reconciliation processes
Proven ability to make informed decisions and work effectively under pressure
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A passion for safety, with a proactive approach to WHS
