As we are a meat processing facility, your role will require you to come into contact with animal waste and by-products, so this role is not for the squeamish. An advanced knowledge and all round ability to carry out a variety of plumbing work will be required.Minimum annual salary $63,000Main duties include:Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials requiredSetting out and installing hot and cold water systems and associated equipmentInstalling water-based fire protections systems, including fire hydrants, hose reels and sprinkler systemsDesigning and installing sanitary plumbing and water supply systems, discharge pipes and sanitary fixturesFabricating and installing soil and waste stacksAssembling and installing mechanical services plant, air handling and conditioning equipment and small bore heating systemsInstalling sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systemsInstalling below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support systemsInstalling gas appliances, flues and pressure regulating devicesFabricating and installing metal roofing, rainwater goods and flashingsNew construction workExperience and Qualifications Required:Minimum 5+ years' experienceFormal qualification - AQF Certificate IVExperience in industrial plumbingMust be trade licensedAbout the Company:Fletcher International Exports is one of Australia's most integrated processors and exporters of lamb and sheep meat products.
