We are currently seeking a Dragline Operators at our Coppabella Moorvale Joint Venture (CMJV) Mine. Our CMJV mine complex consists of two open-cut mine operations located approximately 140 kilometres southwest of Mackay that produce premium low-volatile pulverized coal (LV-PCI) for export markets, with an extension of an additional pit at Moorvale South, adding to our coal production.About the role:As a Dragline Operator, you will play a vital role in Dragline operations to ensure production targets are met and exceeded while ensuring safe and effective production practices are strictly followed.Key Responsibilities
  • Safe operation of Dragline equipment
  • Conduct and attend pre start inspections
  • Monitor ground conditions and bench stability
  • Follow dig plans and bench design
  • Record operational data
  • Performance of basic maintenance and fault reporting
The lifestyle:
This position is offered on a 7 Days On and 7 Days Off (Day only) roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah or Nebo), DIDO or salary sacrificed FIFO lifestyle. Employees living residentially may have access to a $15,000 housing allowance.About you:We're looking for a motivated individual with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.   • Previous experience as a Dragline operator
  • Ability to follow work schedules and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A proactive approach to safety and quality in the workplace.

  • You are flexible with rosters and committed to contributing to a high performing production team
