Window Glaziers Position Open with Leading Client in AustraliaOur client, a leader in the Australian glazing industry, is seeking experienced and dedicated Window Glaziers to join their professional team. This role is ideal for candidates with extensive knowledge of window glass handling, cutting, installation, and repair, along with a strong commitment to quality and safety. Successful applicants will play a key role in ensuring precise installation and maintenance of window glass in various settings, maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and efficiency.Applicant Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Window Glazier, with a proven track record in window glass installation and repairs.
  • Must provide evidence of qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Glass and Glazing or similar, along with a valid White Card as required for construction work in Australia.
  • Required documentation includes references from previous employment, pay slips, a valid passport, and police clearance certificates.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, finish, fit, and install window glass in a variety of settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
  • Remove old or broken window panes, prepare frames, and install new window glass efficiently and safely.
  • Apply sealants or caulking to secure window glass, ensuring airtight and waterproof seals.
  • Conduct on-site assessments to provide accurate quotes and time estimates for clients.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all relevant safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Work closely with clients, architects, and construction teams to ensure specifications are met and projects are completed to satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, techniques, and materials.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience as a Window Glazier, demonstrated by at least 5 years in the field.
  • Certificate III in Glass and Glazing or an equivalent qualification.
  • Current White Card, showing an understanding of construction safety standards in Australia.
  • Proficiency in using glazier tools and equipment with precision.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy materials safely.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with clients and team members.
