  • Initial 3-month contract + ongoing rolling extension opportunity
If you have a strong background in client-side project management within the building construction/upgrades space, we want to hear from you!About the Role:As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the full project life cycle, ensuring building projects are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for project planning, procurement, construction management, and stakeholder engagement.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee design, contract administration, commissioning and defect liability management
  • Lead and manage building construction/upgrade projects from planning stages through to handover
  • Prepare comprehensive project management plans
  • Preparation of briefs and tender documentation (traditional and D&C contracts)
  • Evaluate procurement methodologies and managing risk/value for money
  • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and juggle stakeholder priorities
About You:To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Prior experience in client-side project management for building construction/upgrade projects
  • Whilst not mandatory, experience with Correctional and Defence would be highly regarded
  • Whilst not mandatory, a relevant tertiary qualification (for example, Certificate IV Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Town Planning or Quantity Surveyor) and/or AIPM RegPM or equivalent certification would be highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of Australian Standard contracts, procurement processes, and stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication and collaborative leadership skills.
  • Ability to prepare tender documents, consultancy briefs, and project reports
