Your Role: Rigger / Portal Crane DriverOpportunity for a Rigger Portal Crane Driver to join our team based in the defence precinct in Garden Island Sydney. This full-time permanent opportunity will be responsible in providing extensive skills within the Dock Group in support of the Platform Services business within a multi resources team operating in various environments. You will also be responsible for:
  • Operating a portal crane
  • Working with multi skilled activities in all aspects of ship repair.
  • Undertaking rigging work inboard and external of vessel.
  • Work with Mobile & Portal Cranes as a Rigger.
  • Actively manage the Portal Crane area for safety requirement
Your Experience:
  • Mobile Crane Certificate C6
  • Portal Crane Licence/ Ticket
  • HR Licence
  • Tower Crane Licence
  • Advance Rigging Certificate
  • Advance Scaffolding Certificate
  • Forklift Certificate
  • Elevated Work Platform Certificate
  • Drivers Licence – Class C
  • Willingness to undertake training to drive Tow motors
