- Support the Site Catering Manager in overseeing the delivery of catering services and management of stores at a Centre.
- Oversee the assembly, preparation and production of food requirements and service in an economic fashion to assist with delivering catering services within budget.
- Provide direction to catering assistants to ensure food is prepared to specification and on time to meet service delivery demands and that the kitchen is kept in a clean and hygienic state.
- Roster and supervise Catering Services team ensuring that all Catering Services team members are appropriately and adequately trained and, where necessary, relevantly certified.
- Ensure the Catering Services team are trained to on HACCP-based Food Safety Management Practices always ensuring strict adherence.
- Certificate IV in Hospitality (Kitchen Operations) or equivalent required.
- Food Handlers Certificate required.
- Hospitality operational service delivery experience, with solid people management skills leading catering teams.
- Extensive knowledge of food services and relevant food products.
- Knowledge of statutory obligations of Food Safety Standards and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) Program.
